Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Swimming Coach to join our team, with experience at Age Group and Development levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with our age group swimmers as they progress on their swimming journey, improving technique and skills, and coaching with high standards and quality following the Life Leisure WATCH principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and coach a squad of swimmers, including taking them to competitions and training camps.
  • To develop swimmers to progress through our coaching pathway.
  • To work alongside the Assistant Head Coach and Head of Development to achieve our coaching goals.

Our coaching team consistently promotes the values of professionalism, technical expertise, caring, proactivity, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements
  • A Water Safety: RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Coaching Swimming: Swimming Coach Certificate or Level 2 Award
  • Coaching Swimming: Level 2 Award in the Principles of Coaching (QCF)
  • Coaching Swimming: Assistant Swimming Coach Certificate or Level 1 Award
