Learning Disabilities Support Worker

£30 per hour, £78.30 Per Sleep in (10PM-8AM)

Shifts:

08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, 08:00-22:00

We are seeking Full Time Support Workers to join our team at Hugglescote in Coalville.

Hugglescote is a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behavior on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis.

This role will be fulfilling and rewarding, offering you stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Prompting service users' independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Assisting with personal care (depending on service user).
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching, and development.
