Job Title: Project Support Officer

Location: West Yorkshire area based (Hybrid)

This is a full-time fixed-term contract until March 2025. (37 hours per week)

The Work and Health Programme is a comprehensive, collaborative initiative funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and managed by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. It provides targeted pre-employment interventions to support workless households and individuals facing various barriers to progression.

The role of Project Support Officer is to provide an effective support function to the Contract Manager, coordinating and supporting the activities of the Work and Health programme to meet contract objectives. This will involve liaison with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the activities of the Work and Health programme
  • Liaise with stakeholders to achieve contract objectives
  • Provide administrative support to the Contract Manager

Person Specification:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Level 3 relevant qualification
  • Desirable: project management and understanding of UKSPF
