About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Delivery Lead to join our team at DataCareers. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of software development projects using an Agile / Waterfall hybrid framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of developers to design, deliver, and implement software development and process automation projects.
  • Promote and drive efficiency across all stages of the software development lifecycle, adhering to appropriate project management techniques to ensure completion to agreed timescales, quality, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in matrix managing or line managing software developers to deliver innovative solutions in an Agile / hybrid projects delivery environment.
  • Agile project management experience, including Scrum, sprints, and DSDM.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects to timescale, quality, and budget targets.
  • Experience with collaborative project management tools, including JIRA and MS Project.
  • Strong awareness of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to a broad range of software development projects and technical environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently across the team and communicate with senior management.
  • Able to work a minimum of 2 days per week in a hybrid work environment.
