Quality Assurance Manager Opportunity

The quality assurance team at Derbyshire County Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team and contribute to ensuring the council provides high-quality services that achieve good outcomes for children, young people, and their families living and learning in Derbyshire.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a range of quality assurance activities, including reflective practice reviews, complaint investigations, project work, and support during periods of high demand. As a quality assurance manager, you will be responsible for effectively embedding support and challenge through a range of quality assurance activities for both practitioners and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvement and ensure both practice and values across a range of children's services to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
  • Be reflective, persistent, and have excellent analytical, planning, and influencing skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
  • Have a relevant professional qualification and considerable experience of working at a managerial level within a statutory children's services context.
