About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced lawyer to join our team as a Senior Planning Lawyer. This is a permanent opportunity to work with a dynamic and challenging caseload, providing a wide range of legal advice and support in relation to planning matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of lawyers and legal officers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide expert advice on planning matters, including development management, planning policy, and community infrastructure levy work.
  • Lead on complex planning matters, including planning appeals and judicial reviews.
  • Attend planning committee meetings and provide advice and guidance to committee members.
  • Develop and implement planning policies and strategies to support the growth and development of the area.
