Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Functional Disability Assessor. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with disabilities to determine their eligibility for government benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting in-person, video, or phone assessments to evaluate an individual's ability to perform daily activities.
  • Collecting and analyzing clinical information and supporting evidence to create comprehensive reports.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and unbiased assessments.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of one year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other) without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, including the ability to listen, empathize, and dig deeper.
  • The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
  • Demonstrable experience using IT and Microsoft Office, as well as remotely accessing systems such as MS Teams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus a 5% retention bonus. Upon achieving remote-approved status, your salary will increase to £39,900 plus up to 10% bonus. Upon achieving face-to-face delivery, your salary will increase to £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus. Our comprehensive training program includes 12 weeks of intensive training, with opportunities for ongoing development and mentorship.
