Waldeck Consulting is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy providing expert advice on building surveys, defects diagnostics, and project management. As a Building Surveyor and Party Wall Specialist, you will be responsible for advising on design and construction matters, compiling detailed reports, and providing expert advice on party wall matters.


Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct building surveys and defects diagnostics to identify and report on defects and issues
  • Prepare acquisition surveys reports to inform clients on the condition and value of properties
  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of projects
  • Provide expert advice on party wall matters, including party wall surveys and awards
  • Compile detailed reports on site conditions, defects, and other matters
  • Provide contract administration services, including preparation of specifications and design
  • Manage and administer fit-out and refurbishment works
  • Provide insurance reinstatement services
  • Provide access consultancy services, including Equality Act 2010 compliance
  • Act as Principal Designer and Health Safety Adviser

About You


We are seeking a qualified Building Surveyor and Party Wall Specialist with:



  • MRICS status
  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, preferably in a private consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction processes
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
