We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Commissioning and Care Market Oversight to join our Adult Services Director Leadership Team at Lancashire County Council.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on Adult Social Care Commissioning and work closely with strategic partners to shape and sustain a robust care market.
- Ensure the highest level of standards across our CQC registered and non-registered provisions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance partnership working, deliver value for money, and improve sufficiency and sustainability of care for Lancashire residents.
- Work closely with elected members and inform the wider corporate agenda.
- Significant experience in leading and managing strategic commissioning, contract management, brokerage, and operational provider services.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Politically sensitive and able to communicate with councillors, senior leaders, and other influential stakeholders.
- A competitive salary of £102,757 - £111,550 per annum, plus a £5,300 car allowance.
- Up to £9,823 relocation package available.
