About the Role
The Band 6 Occupational Therapist will work as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist care for a defined patient/client group.
They will practice clinically across various settings within Fareham and Gosport and South East Hampshire, working across professional, clinical providers of palliative care services as required.
The role encompasses clinical, consultative, education, leadership, and research functions, with the primary concern of bringing the highest standards of clinical care to the patient through good symptom management, emotional support, and access to appropriate services and advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist care for a defined patient/client group
- Practice clinically across various settings
- Work across professional, clinical providers of palliative care services
- Develop and support patient-centred seamless care
