About the Role

The Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Specialist Palliative Care team. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice clinically across a variety of settings, including community and hospital environments.
  • Develop and support patient-centred seamless care, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide symptom management, emotional support, and access to appropriate services and advice.
  • Participate in clinical, consultative, education, leadership, and research functions.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Health Care Professions Council registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Advanced communications skills training or be prepared to work towards this.
  • Evidence of Continuing Education.
  • Car driver with current licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
