We are seeking a caring and dedicated Support Assistant to join our specialist care team in Prestwood.
The role involves providing practical care assistance to a mature woman with a spinal cord injury, enabling her to maintain her independence and enjoy a fulfilling life.
The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, providing emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
- Preparing and serving meals, as required
- Managing the client's household and maintaining a safe environment
- Encouraging the client's independence and participation in activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
