About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Operations team at the British Business Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our IT strategic partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Business to oversee IT supplier service contracts, ensuring continued high levels of value and quality in service delivery and compliance with SLAs.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Business and Supplier in the event of concerns, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders, and post-incident review within the IT category.
  • Undertake assurance activities to ensure all controls, processes, documentation, and procedures are reviewed regularly and adhered to.
  • Manage performance/SLA/KPI management, service-specific contract drafting and negotiation skills, and dispute management.
  • Analyse complex performance information and invoicing for all outsourced services.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of effective contract, commercial, service, and budget management within a complex multi-source service/supplier environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT Service Providers.
  • Ability to use clear escalation paths for reporting, prioritizing, and resolving issues.
  • Good understanding of public sector procurement processes and strategic supplier relationship management.
  • Previous experience and understanding of the specific laws relating to public sector procurement and managing public money.
