Senior Category Manager - Technology/ICT

North of England NHS Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is a collaborative procurement organization based in Sheffield, hosted by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT). Our goal is to deliver best value procurement outcomes for the NHS through collaborative working.

This role will be responsible for leading the Technology/ICT Category Procurement Team, reporting to the Procurement Director.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for leading and developing this category team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a sourcing plan to deliver best value outcomes for NHS.
  • Managing an existing portfolio of framework agreements and ensuring timely delivery of procurement projects.
  • Supporting a category management approach to deliver cash releasing savings and sustainable total cost reductions for NHS.
  • Building excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Having a hands-on approach and a results-focused mentality.

This role will work closely with the Procurement Director and other Senior/Category Manager(s) to build relationships with senior-level and expert stakeholders in this category area.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Senior level procurement experience in public or private sector.
  • Category specific background and expertise.
  • Evidence of working with diverse stakeholder groups.
