About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Legal Services Team at The Scouts Association. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing legal risk for the Scouts nationally, partnering with senior leadership and HQ teams on high-profile projects that directly impact the lives of young people across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on property work for the Scouts, including support for the Scout Association Trust Corporation
  • Provide general legal and commercial support, including claims, litigation, compliance, and regulatory work
  • Improve processes and support for the Custodian Trustee service
  • Collaborate closely with the Head and Deputy of Legal on a variety of projects
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the legal function

  • A proactive, dynamic, and experienced lawyer with a strong background in commercial and property law
  • Someone who is committed to learning, developing processes, and building strong relationships
