Senior Commercial Lawyer - 10+ Years PQE (Remote)

Our client, a highly regarded and prestigious 'Employer of Choice' in the legal sector, is seeking to recruit a Senior Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) acquired within Private Practice. This role involves delivering expert legal counsel and support to a diverse portfolio of esteemed global and national clients. You will engage in a wide array of commercial legal matters, including but not limited to distribution agreements, agency contracts, and general terms and conditions for goods and services. Additionally, there will be opportunities to broaden your expertise in areas such as competition law and data protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and negotiating distribution agreements
  2. Managing agency contracts
  3. Formulating general terms and conditions for goods and services
  4. Exposure to or interest in competition law (preferred but not mandatory)
  5. Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

To excel in this position, candidates must possess at least 10 years PQE as a Commercial Lawyer from a reputable law firm, with a robust background in the aforementioned areas. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. A proactive, client-oriented mindset is crucial, as is the capability to manage a diverse workload and adhere to deadlines.
