About the Role

Cyan Partners is seeking a highly skilled commercial lawyer to join our Risk Management Department as a Senior Commercial Lawyer. This is a key hire for our firm as we develop our risk function further.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, negotiate, and draft a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements.
  • Oversee and advise on all aspects of our procurement processes.
  • Provide advice and support in relation to data protection and assist with any disputes arising from contractual arrangements.
  • Take responsibility for commercial contracts from initiation to execution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory issues.
  • Work closely with our management and risk teams, liaising at a senior level and supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Experience of procurement processes and a good understanding of commercial risks.
  • Sound business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commercial, pragmatic, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a supportive environment and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
