Service Technician Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at JLB Recruitment Ltd. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our customers' security systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, entryphone/access control, and CCTV.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Service and maintain customers' security systems on a daily basis
* Respond to emergency callouts as required
* Work collaboratively with other engineers on the on-call rota
* Utilize a company-provided vehicle and fuel card for work-related purposes
* Enjoy 22 days of holiday leave plus Bank Holidays
* Participate in the company's Pension scheme
* Receive a company-provided laptop and mobile phone (optional)
* Wear company-provided uniform

**Daily Tasks:**

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our customers' security systems on a daily basis. This will include dealing with emergency callouts, which may require you to attend sites outside of regular working hours. You will be provided with a planned route and will be expected to work independently, using your own initiative to resolve any issues that may arise.

**On-Call Duty:**

As part of the on-call rota, you will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. You will be expected to respond to emergency calls and attend sites as required. This will involve working with other engineers to ensure that all calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

**Requirements:**

* Strong knowledge of intruder alarms and fire alarms
* Preferable knowledge of entryphone/access control and CCTV
* Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Clean work ethic and ability to enter customers' homes to carry out duties
