About the Role:

Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our Environment team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and documentation of commissioning activities on projects and programmes of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
  • Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate site activities to meet project requirements
  • Ensure commissioning documentation is complete and available on the Common Data Environment
  • Coordinate and deliver training to project teams and stakeholders
  • Mark up drawings and documents to reflect changes during the commissioning process

Requirements:

  • Experience in commissioning complex projects in the water industry
  • Good financial and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix management arrangement
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CSCS or ECS card, EUSR Water Hygiene Card, and CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
