Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Fitter Mate/Improver to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of commercial and residential sprinkler systems to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of sprinkler systems in commercial and residential settings
  • Travel nationwide for installation projects, working closely with our team to ensure seamless execution
  • Coordinate with the sprinkler install team and small works manager to schedule jobs and ensure timely completion
  • Communicate effectively with clients to plan installations, including scheduling and access requirements
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available on site as required, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Provide timely paperwork detailing installations to the sprinkler install team and small works manager

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in sprinkler system installation as a fitter mate/improver
  • CSCS Card
  • IPAF trained
  • Ability to work with different pipe materials and fittings
  • Experience in fire protection systems (desirable)
