Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Fitter Mate/Improver to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of commercial and residential sprinkler systems to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of sprinkler systems in commercial and residential settings
  • Travel nationwide for installation projects
  • Coordinate with the sprinkler install team and small works manager for job scheduling
  • Communicate with clients to plan installations, including scheduling and access requirements
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available on site as required
  • Provide timely paperwork detailing installations to the sprinkler install team and small works manager

Person Specification:

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in sprinkler system installation as a fitter mate/improver
  • CSCS Card
  • IPAF trained
Experience

Essential:

  • As a fitter mate/improver in installing commercial and residential sprinkler systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in fire protection systems
Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide for projects
