Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guidance and Support Specialist to join our team at Teacheroo. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver Careers Guidance Programmes: Design and implement effective careers guidance programmes to support students in making informed decisions about their future.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Support Staff: Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless integration of careers guidance into the curriculum.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to students, parents, and carers.
  • Organisational Ability: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Educational Systems: A working knowledge of SQA and subject choice leading to positive destinations.
