On-Screen Journalist

We are seeking an exceptional On-Screen Journalist to join our team in the North West bureau. As a key member of our news team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging content to our audiences across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver daily newsgathering and produce original journalism that resonates with our audience.
- Develop a deep understanding of the North West community and identify key stories that matter to our viewers.
- Work closely with the team to create engaging content for multiple platforms, including TV, online, and social media.
- Conduct live performances and self-shoot/edit when required.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance, media law, and health & safety guidelines.
- Proven track record in delivering quality daily newsgathering.
- Ability to source and bring to air original journalism.
- Confident live performer.
- Understanding of content that matters to the North West bureau.
- Adept at lifting stories 'off the page' to create engaging output.
- Knowledge of editorial considerations, regulatory compliance, media law, and health & safety guidelines.
