Role Overview

The Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Charity is seeking a dedicated Fundraising Officer to support the delivery of our Individual Giving programme. This role involves acquiring new supporters, retaining existing donors, and increasing income through appeals, regular giving, in-memory donations, and legacy gifts.

Main Responsibilities

  2. Create engaging campaigns and materials, such as appeals, newsletters, and acquisition initiatives, by crafting compelling copy and sourcing impactful content to connect with supporters.">
  3. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate integrated campaigns, ensuring effective execution across various channels, including direct mail, digital communications, and targeted appeals.">
  4. Utilise data analysis and donor segmentation to develop personalised stewardship plans that strengthen relationships, enhance loyalty, and maximise donor value.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent Grade C English and Mathematics Grade C or equivalent.">
  • Substantial experience with a proven track record in fundraising, preferably within a health or hospital environment.">
  • Awareness of best fundraising practice (including the Fundraising Standards Board Codes of Fundraising Practice).">
  • Knowledge and experience of fundraising CRM systems and utilising data.">
  • Able to plan projects, identifying and delivering on key milestones to ensure success of long-term projects.">

Working Arrangements

">

This role is based at Trustwide, Gloucestershire, with an estimated salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
