Electrical Engineer Role

Tarmac is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in our cement and packed products division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in our 3-year graduate scheme, gaining a detailed understanding of cement engineering, manufacturing, and production.
  • Contribute to successful continuous plant performance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Design, install, and test electrical installations, including LV/HV installations, instrumentation systems, and control and safety systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement capital projects from conception to handover.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring adherence to the integrated management system.
  • Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyzing data to optimize plant performance.
  • Gain valuable experience on plants across our UK and Ireland cluster or participate in an international assignment.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Willingness to work in different locations across the UK and Ireland, with potential for international assignments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for working safely and enthusiasm for starting a career in the building materials industry.
