About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our Cement and Packed Products Team at our Aberthaw site. The role is easily commutable from various locations in South Wales and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in our 3-year graduate scheme, helping you to make decisions to deliver business impact, present powerfully, communicate effectively and many more key skills.
  • Contribute to successful continuous plant performance.
  • Learn your Engineering craft, gaining a detailed understanding of Cement Engineering, Manufacturing and Production via a dedicated Tarmac development programme and the CRH International Technical Programme.
  • Conduct LV/HV Installations: IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - design, install and testing of electrical installations.
  • Instrumentation Systems: Process instrumentation and calibration of, e.g. load cells for weigher systems, level control devices, PID controllers, etc.
  • Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyse data to optimise plant performance, making recommendations for modifications.
  • Gain knowledge, understanding and practical application of all safety policies, procedures and practices and be active in leading and driving safety standards and improvements.

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have, or be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Willing to work in different locations across UK and Ireland (and international assignments in the future).
