We are seeking a highly skilled Appliance Maintenance Technician to join our team in Newark. As an Appliance Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a range of appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers.

Job Overview

This is a full-time role that requires exceptional technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain a range of appliances
  • Work to tight deadlines and meet productivity targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to individual customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £13.58 per hour
  • Overtime paid at £20.37 per hour after 6 weeks
