About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at The Radley Care Home in Borehamwood. As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shift Accountability: Conduct a thorough handover at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all residents are accounted for and their needs are met.
  • Staff Management: Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and contribute to the efficient running of the care home.
  • Training and Development: Support the training and development of all staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
  • Personal Care and Safety: Assist residents with personal care needs, promoting independence and dignity, while ensuring the home remains safe and secure.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to CQC guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff members.
  • Effective communication and interaction skills.
