Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Speech and Language Therapist to join our Exeter and Okehampton Service. This 3-day-a-week role will be based at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and will deliver a community speech and language therapy service to children and young people within clinic and education settings.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent, full Registration with Health Professions Council, and Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. They will have in-depth knowledge of children with special needs and associated conditions underpinned by current evidence-based practice.
Job Overview- This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- You will manage a caseload of children and young people with Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) using evidenced-based practice to assess, plan, formulate, implement and evaluate interventions in a variety of settings.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide clinical support and supervision to less experienced SLTs, work with the Clinical Team Manager to coordinate the clinic and oversee day-to-day caseload management, and participate in clinical audits and research as appropriate.
