Respiratory Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Substantive Respiratory Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of respiratory services, including the management of respiratory wards and the development of new treatments and therapies.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physiotherapists, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements- Appropriate higher medical degree (MD or equivalent)
- Full GMC registration
- MRCP
- CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- Higher postgraduate degree
- ALS
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Independent bronchoscopist
