Job Title: Royalty Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Royalty Analyst to join our Royalty & Third-Party Accounting Team at Y Royalties.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a background in royalties accountancy with a keen interest in the music industry. They will be responsible for editing sales data, preparing royalty accounting statements, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit sales data for upload into Counterpoint royalty and Curve systems
  • Assist in the preparation of royalty accounting statements
  • Reconcile and clear balance sheet accounts
  • Analyse and condense royalty data from recording and publishing labels and digital platforms
  • Prepare journals for direct royalty income
  • Maintain royalties receivable tracker
  • Provide data to finance teams for balance sheet reconciliation
  • Maintain the CCY Portal/Website
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in royalties accountancy
  • Numerate and proficient in Excel
  • General knowledge of Counterpoint and Curve royalty systems a bonus
