Job Overview

This is a substantive, full-time role in the Integrated Child Health Service at Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
  • Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children, and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding.
  • At least 4 years post graduate training including 2 years community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences).
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £96,990 - £107,155 based on location and job requirements.
