We are seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join our team at TeacherActive. As a dedicated provider of educational staff, we strive to build strong relationships with schools and staff to find the best placements.

This role is ideal for a professional who has experience working with students with SEND, challenging behavior, and EAL pupils. The successful candidate will be supporting children in a Year 2 Class on a long-term placement.

  • The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 qualification or 6 months of experience in an educational setting.
  • A calm, patient, and caring demeanor is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to work effectively with students and staff.
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines is also required.
  • Experience in supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings is beneficial.
