Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop geotechnical solutions for infrastructure projects, including rail, highways, and water sectors.
  • Conduct site investigations and interpret data to inform geotechnical design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver geotechnical projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
Requirements:
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background in civil engineering with a postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering.
  • Proven experience in finite element modeling and analysis, including PLAXIS2D/3D.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead geotechnical design teams.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to negotiate and manage successful projects.
