About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Jamieson Clark. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and design support to our clients on specialist water cooled, refrigerated and heat pump HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan heating and cooling system selections for commercial and multi-residential new build and retrofit projects
  • Provide technical advice and support to M&E consultants and contractors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality HVAC systems
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of HVAC systems and technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical engineering background and qualifications
  • Experience within HVAC, covering air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, heat pumps, plumbing or piping
  • Knowledge of chilled water cooling solutions and mathematical calculations such as heat loss, heat gain, load, pressure and volumetric
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000, up to a £4,000 bonus, health care, dental insurance, pension scheme, gym and sports/social club scheme.
