Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of nursing practice within Community Mental Health services, taking the lead in extending boundaries and creating frameworks for the enhancement of nursing within their specialty.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical practice, including training and taking on the Responsible Clinician role in practice.
- Lead professional leadership and consultancy, including clinical supervision.
- Develop and deliver education, training, and development programs for staff and other agencies.
- Conduct research and service evaluation to inform practice and improve outcomes.
- Exercise full responsibility and autonomy for the therapy of clients, ensuring appropriate assessment, formulation, and interventions.
- Work therapeutically with adults of all ages and lead service development changes.
- Facilitate quality improvement in practice and have experience of training and education/lecturing within higher education.
