United Living Group is a leading provider of sustainable infrastructure solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Shetland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, planning and coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning and coordination of construction activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
- Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure compliance with project plans and promote quality control of all installations.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by Field Management.
- Assist with compliance of the United Living Infrastructure Services safety program, creating a safe and healthy work environment on the construction site.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems, and other software or databases to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Interface with clients and designers to ensure compliance with design intent and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors.
- Must have Gas or Pipeline experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience working on similar projects for National Grid, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, or Scotia Gas Networks is advantageous.
