The Role

We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 driver with Hiab license to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering a friendly and efficient service on and off company premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive safely and courteously, complying with current legislation and ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading.
  • Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service, adhering to Lawsons' Best Practice, Standards and Company Policies.
  • Build rapport with customers, being polite and courteous, and proactively contribute to potential company sales.
  • Be vigilant to prevent loss or damage of product and vehicle, and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.
Requirements
  • A valid HGV Class 2 License.
  • A valid Hiab License (essential).
  • A positive and friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and methodical approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and adaptable, with good interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to approach customers.
  • Excellent time management skills and a desire to develop a knowledge of the company, our products and the elements required to be successfully employed in this business.
What We Offer
  • Salary £36,000 - £38,000, dependant on experience.
