About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role in ensuring orders are picked and packed efficiently, ready for delivery to our customers. They champion customer service delivery through effective coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of timely delivery. As an RDC Warehouse Operative, you will work within the Regional Distribution team, supporting stock destined for other branches.

Main Responsibilities:

Checking and storing supplier-delivered parts accurately
Picking and loading vans promptly and accurately
Inspecting customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
Verifying stock quantities against computer records and checking stock is stored in allocated bin locations

Working Hours:

Average hours, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A strong track record of working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
Ability to work well under pressure
Good team player
Efficient work habits with attention to detail
Understanding of customer service and working to deadlines
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication skills
Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry is desirable
