Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Industrial Engineer to join our team at Managed Staffing, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing Process Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  • Design the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
  • Develop the sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
  • Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
  • Inspect the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
  • Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to work a 4-9-4 schedule (Monday-Thursday 9 hours, Friday 4 hours).
