A great opportunity has arisen for a Technical Business Analyst to join our FinTech client on the south coast. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Imago tools and be able to work on a hybrid basis, visiting the office once a week.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of a fast-paced agile delivery team, responsible for building highly configurable and automated solutions for some of the UK's largest Financial Services companies.
The successful candidate will need to have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work across multiple projects and products.
The role involves working with BAs, Developers, and Testers in an agile environment, assisting in the end-to-end development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as system SME and provide operational knowledge support to the project team.
- Work with customers to understand their requirements and help to translate them into formal software change documents.
- Work with Product Owner(s) and Project Manager(s) to formalise functional requirements and product roadmap development.
- Provide business process mapping support.
- Configure the system(s) to meet the needs of specific user requirements.
- Work with development and testing team(s) to help ensure functional changes meet business needs.
- Ensure user guides, process documents, and training materials are up to date.
- Provide systems training to external users and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with issue resolution and client support.
Requirements:
- Able to think logically and utilise good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of UK pensions and investments is essential.
- System thinker with a desire to understand how systems work.
- Self-motivated approach to professional and personal development.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and flexible approach to work.
- Able to organise workloads, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to articulate and document business requirements.
- Delivery mindset and comfortable to assist within an agile delivery environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of working within a change environment.
- Experience of working on calculation-based products would be desirable.
Location:
Flexible. Ability to visit the Portsmouth office once a week is desirable.
