About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our Rates team, supporting the delivery of robust and timely Business Rates. As a Data Analyst and Rates Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate submission of statutory supplier reports to the Regulator and supporting rates claims to the MoD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate submission of statutory supplier reports to the Regulator and supporting rates claims to the MoD
  • Regular liaison and active engagement with customer auditors to effectively co-ordinate audit activities
  • High-quality audit query responses through effective collaboration with other parts of Finance and the wider business
  • Calculation of robust and timely Actual, Forecast, and Estimate Business Rates underpinned by agreed Business assumptions with a clear articulation of movements and impacts
  • Support to Business Partners through ad-hoc scenario rates modelling
  • Support to the Rates Capability Centre on its transformation journey through sharing of learning, ongoing collaboration, delivery of change work packages, and active engagement with other team members
