Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Jark PLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to a high standard, working from detailed drawings and interpreting technical specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, working with heavy gauge materials up to 20mm.
  • Interpret and work from detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting, and manual press brake equipment, as well as hand tools such as grinders and drills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a strong understanding of commercial vehicle manufacturing.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Working Hours and Pay:
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with overtime available. The pay rate is up to £16 per hour.
