Project Engineer - Pressure Vessels

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the Midlands. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating vessel projects from design to manufacturing, working closely with a multi-disciplined team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of pressure vessel design codes (EN13445, ASME VIII Div 1 & PD5500) and proficiency in AutoCAD and PV Elite. The role offers a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, pension, and bonus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design activities, including drawings, technical specifications, and design calculations
  • Production of technical documentation, such as weld maps and quality plans
  • Material procurement and support fabrication facilities
  • Effective project management to ensure quality and delivery
  • Production of full BOMs using in-house ERP software

Requirements:

  • Qualified in Engineering to HND or Degree level (or equivalent)
  • Fully competent in AutoCAD
  • Experience with design software PV Elite
  • Working knowledge of pressure vessel design codes EN13445, ASME VIII Div 1 & PD5500
  • Knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication processes, including welding and NDE
