We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Optimization Specialist to join our team at Kings College Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of medication therapy services, with a focus on optimizing patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with experience in service development, protocol and guideline development, and financial reporting. You will also have excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate self and others.

The estimated salary for this role is £72,000 - £82,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement medication therapy services that optimize patient outcomes
  • To provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services
  • To ensure the safe and effective use of medications within the care group
  • To develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist MRPharmS (1 year competency assessed and examined professional registration)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice
  • Registered independent prescriber or willingness to complete
