About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Fortem Solutions. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for leading site teams and subcontractors in undertaking various tasks and ensuring the successful delivery of refurbishment programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review certification to ensure works comply with relevant standards
  • Ensure inspections are properly recorded and reported
  • Lead a team of supply chain partners to solve problems and maximise productivity
  • Enforce H&S procedures and policies
  • Carry out Ad Hoc safety inspections and Quality Inspections
  • Organise work activity and prioritisation for the team
  • Manage programme responsibilities and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Experience of managing construction projects at Assistant Site Manager level
  • Problem solving skills and analytical capability
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office package and CSCS Card
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to undertake regular travel
