Unlock Your Potential as a Treasury Accountant at Howden Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our Group Treasury team in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our cash and risk management projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with HR, Equity Modelling, Finance, Legal, and other business heads to ensure all stakeholder loan reporting needs are met.
  2. Lead WACOD calculations to support Corporate Finance activity.
  3. Develop and manage a single list of bank accounts in the treasury management system (TMS) to improve cash visibility.
  4. Engage with global banking population to report by SWIFT to the TMS, focusing on banks not in immediate scope for pooling and fiduciary accounts.
  5. Serve as the point of contact to integrate pooling arrangements with the general ledger and ERP.
  6. Engage with local banks to improve yield on third-party and own cash.
  7. Support existing and emerging treasury and cash management activities as the group and function grow.
  8. Support daily TMS cash management processes.
  9. Support cash flow forecast, analysis, and reporting obligations.
  10. Monitor the intercompany interest matching between TMS and the banking pool (ie Kyriba vs Citi).
  11. Support other emerging HGH Group projects as required.
  12. Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and governance.
Requirements
  1. Prior experience in financial services or insurance sector experience within a group treasury or finance function.
  2. Previous Treasury in-house banking exposure.
  3. Part-qualified or finalist through ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  4. Advanced abilities in using Microsoft Excel as an analysis tool (VLookups and pivot tables).
  5. Accurate and excellent at self-review with a good understanding of financial control principles.
