Treasury Accountant Position Overview

Howden Group Holdings is seeking a skilled Treasury Accountant to join its Central London office. As a key member of the Group Treasury team, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of HGH Group's cash and risk management projects and operations. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop HGH Group's intercompany and employee share loan processes, including cross-currency, cross-border loans, and international transfer pricing principles.
  2. Be the single point of contact for all employee share and intercompany loans, developing and managing a suitable loan repository to manage the life cycle of all the loans.
  3. Calibrate cost of funding model and create an intercompany lending model to ensure Group provides intercompany borrowing and lending profitably.
  4. Engage with HR, Equity Modelling, Finance, Legal, and other business heads to ensure all stakeholder loan reporting needs are met.
  5. Lead creation of external debt and interest rate swaps into TMS, and lead WACOD calculations to support Corporate Finance activity.
  6. Improve cash visibility by developing and managing a single list of bank accounts in the treasury management system (TMS).
  7. Support delivery of HGH Group's cash pooling objectives, including integrating pooling arrangements with the general ledger and ERP.
  8. Support existing and emerging treasury and cash management activities as the group and function grow, including daily TMS cash management processes, cash flow forecast, analysis, and reporting obligations.


Key Competencies

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in financial services or insurance sector experience within a group treasury or finance function. Must have demonstrable experience of intercompany loan setup and management, including transfer pricing implications of multinational loans, multicurrency exposure, and loan administration and control. Candidates must have prior Treasury in-house banking exposure and be part-qualified through ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. Advanced abilities in using Microsoft Excel as an analysis tool are also essential.
