Nurse IV Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse IV Therapy Specialist to join our Clinical Homecare Nursing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing individualized, compassionate, quality patient care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition and other IV therapies in their home.
The ideal candidate will have current NMC registration, a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, and be competent in the management and delivery of IV therapies. You will also be required to have a valid driving license and be able to travel to visit patients outside of your local area.
Main Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed IV therapies and associated care and support to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
- Provide training and education to support patients/carers in the connection and disconnection of Parenteral Nutrition and any other prescribed therapies to independence.
- Support the provision of a phlebotomy/cannulation service for patients.

Requirements:
- RN with current NMC registration (adult)
- Mentoring/Teaching Certificate or equivalent
- Current clinical experience minimum of least 1 year
- Competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies
- Competent in the care and management of CVADs
- Blood samples from CVADs
- Cannulation/Venipuncture - peripheral
