We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Expert to join our team at IQVIA, where you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional results and advancing the field of histopathology. Job Overview


As a Pathology Expert, you will be responsible for reviewing and scoring Immunohistochemistry and FISH slides, establishing new histopathology assays, maintaining professional qualifications, evaluating laboratory information, and reporting results according to regulatory requirements. You will also collaborate with Scientific Affairs to provide technical guidance and support.



Key Responsibilities



  • Review and score Immunohistochemistry and FISH slides to ensure accurate interpretations and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement new histopathology assays in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills in histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and cytogenetics testing procedures.
  • Evaluate laboratory information to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Report results in accordance with protocols mandated by regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Scientific Affairs to provide technical guidance, advice on test development, and result interpretation.


Qualifications and Experience



  • A medical degree (MD) or foreign equivalent, with certification in Anatomic Pathology required.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in histopathology, preferably in a reference lab, clinical research organization, or clinical trials setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to various audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and client management skills, with a proven track record of resolving issues and meeting performance metrics.
  • Prior experience working in a quality-driven environment, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to excellence.
